Why is my report necessary? Because of the basic nature of the car business. When you go into the grocery store and buy a quart of milk, you pay the stated price (like $2.54) - no negotiating or haggling. If you get the quart of milk, the price is fixed - set by the grocer - you take it or leave it. In the car business, nothing carries a fixed price - not even what the dealer pays for the car, and what you pay for the car is negotiable. And, YOU can negotiate for yourself!
Any car salesperson will be more than happy to charge you the sticker price plus a bunch of fees, give you the lowest possible allowance for your trade-in, and finance it for you at a high interest rate - because that's how he/she makes the most money for the dealership - and for him/herself. If you allow that to happen, he/she will be grinning ear-to-ear because he/she has just found a sucker! By not negotiating anything, you will have paid THOUSANDS of dollars MORE for your new car than necessary.
You don't need to let that happen. You CAN negotiate a fair deal for yourself. All it takes is knowledge. Man or woman, young or "maturing", college graduate or high-school dropout, doctor, plumber, single mom - your circumstances and education don't matter. What matters is your knowledge. That's what my manual gives you.
That's why I wrote this "Car Buyer's Manual". You see, I am a retired banker, mortgage broker and CPA. I have financed cars, both for a bank and a new car dealership. I sold cars at the same dealership. I ran a RV dealership, too. And, yes, I've bought cars for myself and my family.
